Celebrating 14 Years of Prime

Company day 2026 and our ambition for 2030

Another September, another Company Day, and this year we had even more reason to celebrate as Prime marked 14 years in business.

The day began with presentations from our directors, Stephen Wiles and Laura Jones, followed by updates from each of our Heads of Department. Together we looked back on a year of growth, recognition and real progress, and looked forward to where we are heading next.

A big part of the reflection was our people. Our team has grown from 83 to 104 Primemates over the past year, and we welcomed many new starters across the business. We were also proud to celebrate colleagues who have grown with us. Investing in our team, and giving them room to develop, remains at the heart of how we work.

It has also been a year of recognition from across the industry:

  • Winner – Wellbeing Employer of the Year at The Property Institute ACE Awards 2026
  • Shortlisted – Managing Agent of the Year (10,001–20,000 units) at the same awards
  • Finalist – Business Culture Awards 2026, alongside our partners Culture Chameleon, recognising the purpose, values and vision we built together as a team

None of this means we think we have everything perfect. Culture is never "done" , and we'll keep listening to our team through our regular Say It Straight surveys and our Blockers & Barriers sessions so we can keep improving.

Of course, our Company Day wasn't just about reflection. Earlier in the year, our brave colleagues Aisha, Leigh and Emily took on a skydive and raised an incredible £4,670 for one of our chosen charities, Resolve.

The day finished with a competitive game of rounders! The perfect way to celebrate our achievements and the team spirit that makes Prime what it is.

Looking ahead: Ambition 2030

One of the highlights of the day was sharing our Ambition 2030, a clear picture of where we want Prime to be by the end of the decade. By 2030, we want to be the most trusted and admired block management company in the South East and Home Counties, and the benchmark for service excellence in multi-occupancy block management. Whilst we may not be the cheapest, we strive to be the best.

For our clients and leaseholders, that means fast, high-quality responses, more phone and video conversations rather than email, greater transparency over performance and outcomes, and clear communication about service charges as the market changes under the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act. It also means working side by side with our clients to set, deliver and demonstrate measurable goals each year, and always following through on our promises.

Here's to 14 years of Prime, and to the road to 2030!
