Our Our story

Back in 2012, our founder, Steve, set out to create a more caring, human-centred experience for leaseholders. Listen to Steve’s origin story below.

Today, this has translated into our purpose statement. We exist to put life before lease - which applies equally to our clients and team members.

We’ll say it straight: Property Management is demanding and fast-paced. You’re not just managing a building, you’re looking after people’s homes, sometimes their most valuable asset and quite literally the roof over their head! This means many days are full on and situations aren’t always straightforward. Managing this takes resilience, strong problem solving skills and the willingness to have difficult conversations - all whilst being as invested as if you were dealing with your own home.

Yes, the job can be full on, but that’s also what makes it meaningful - the satisfaction of delivering solutions for our clients and striving towards delivering fair, safe, quality living for all homeowners is deeply rewarding. Our managers

Over the past few years, we’ve invested heavily in developing emotionally intelligent, people-centred managers and leaders. Through our Conscious Manager Programme, managers have built essential soft skills such as coaching, managing change, having constructive conversations and leading with empathy.

We’re proud to say that a high number of our managers have achieved the nationally recognised RSPH Level 2 Award in Understanding Emotional Wellbeing, equipping them to recognise early signs of stress, foster psychologically safe teams and support wellbeing at every level of the business. This commitment leans into our purpose and brings our We care like a homeowner value to life, ensuring that wellbeing is embedded into how we lead, communicate and support our Primemates every day.

Our working environment

Our offices in Bromley and Welwyn Garden City provide spaces designed to help our Primemates thrive together every day. Located in the heart of each town centre, they blend modern, open-plan workspaces with areas designed for focus, collaboration and comfort.

Across both locations, teams can enjoy relaxed meeting rooms and dedicated boardrooms, breakout spaces ideal for brainstorming and zones thoughtfully designed to support productivity whilst recognising the diverse ways our Primemates work best.
